tim posted in the topic Using Brand Names for Products…SS Adsense Question in the forum General 10 years ago
I’m interested as well. I’ve heard of others having brands go after them when using them to drive traffic. Do they have a legal standing? I don’t know. However, you and I don’t have the budget to find out.
I’d like to know where the line in the sand is or isn’t for this.

Thanks for the double clarifying!
Sounds great apart from the elitist application process..i get that you want a mastermind group but perhaps it’s worth considering that being in a mastermind group is what makes a mastermind!

Hey Adrian, I have an SS (1.06) site running the Semeasy plugin and haven’t had any problems at all. Do you have the Semeasy plugin activated when you’re building your shaker pages or activate after they are all built out?Hi Craig, Are you saying that SEMEasy DA has to be activated before build out? I never had to…

When you say that you’re sure, you’re using a stock theme and you only have those two plugins active, right?
By no post content, do you mean that the page is blank, or the content area for the post is empty, only? Speaking of which, it is very important to make sure that Serpshaker is installed and active when you have SS posts, since it…[Read more]

Penguin 3.0 just hit and it looks like GSA became really dangerous. How did it go with your site that you were pillowing directly with GSA? Was it affected by Penguin 3.0?
All of my sites that I use FCS/GSA for pillowing survived Penguin 3.0. Actually they went up in rank because some competitors fell out of t… -

Sorry to hijack the thread…
Any word on how fast Limestone builds with SS?
I’m looking to get started with a cloud server from them (2 core 1gb mem) note sure if it’s worth starting out small, though.

Like Ben, I’m still using it as well (a little bit). It’s a great way to create some nice pillow link sources for free (minus the tool fees). The only issue is that it takes a lot of work and time to get these things pumped out. Setting up the Web 2.0s, manually customizing the first tier, dripping the 2-4th tiers, etc. A… -

I still use it quite a bit as well as people buying services for epic link boosts (essentially running GSA with a private link list for campaigns for people). It still works greatly for higher tiers delivering juice, you just need to know HOW to use it and where. Thanks for the feedback, Ben. What’s the lowest tier you’ll run it…[Read more]

I would do this:
Create another identical site or two (just with different spun content.)
Track your traffic, have the banner enabled on one but not on the other. Compare your conversion rate after a few weeks (or however long it takes to get a solid bit of clicks for data) and then report back here with your answer.
Of course, it…[Read more]

@dmitriynam if you’re using DA, I wouldn’t both using anything other than the standard themes mentioned above. Not only will they definitely work, but they’re going to be more lightweight than most other themes which is important when you’re effectively loading two webpages in quick succession or at the same time.

I’d be curious as to whether this is 180,000 geographic areas or if that includes duplicates of geographic areas because you have pages in each area for multiple keywords

I’m curious as to whether anyone is using GSA or FCS anymore.
I like keeping GSA for the link diversity alone that you can get from it. However, I’m thinking of dropping FCS. I find myself hardly using it.
However, the question is, should I be using FCS more?

There is a lot of talk about going after really low comp niches. However, aiming for at least (or around) $2k per month per client is causing a bit of cognitive dissonance.
Primarily it’s because we’re talking about a few different things here. What I’m really interested in is what exactly is the model that SEMeasy uses for their own client…[Read more]

Do the search with misspellings and see how different the results are – that should give you some idea of whether or not it’s worth it.

If you have a decent machine, building offline is very easy with MAMP/WAMP. It also makes it very easy to manually duplicate sites when you want to make a bunch of them.
