  • It wouldn’t hurt to put it in the navigation for spiders to find it. Otherwise it’s just as easy/hard as it is for them to decide to crawl other pages in the sitemap.

  • Welcome!

That’s a super vague question, my friend. It could be anything from poor on-site seo on your money site (under or over optimization) to not so great choices in your PBNs (weak/spammy, etc).

To get started, take some time to describe these items if you want a better answer:

How competitive is your main keyword? Are you a…[Read more]

  • Fair enough. I’m starting with some localized 100-200 page sites as well. Actually starting with my girlfriend’s brick and mortar biz.

In my case I set the category as a county term, that way there is a page created to rank for the county, like “Local Service in Mycounty, NY”. I would link to them, but the issue there is that it lists full p…[Read more]

I’ve been extracting the post links inside the ss plugin using the extract links option and then pasting them into a post. I then send all backlinks (press releases, pbn’s, etc.) to that post so the juice can flow to every post.  Hope that makes sense.

Interesting idea, good as part of a linking strategy. Have you seen results from t…[Read more]

After nearly a year of using FCS I have determined that I get far more out of Magic Submitter than anything else.

This is intriguing Mark. Any quick comments on the most effective ways to use Magic Submitter? I have FCS networker… but it’s kind of a pain in the ass to use effectively, at times.

  • Has anyone been juicing SS or SLL style sites with a PBN? I’m curious as to what has been most effective as far as where to send the links to, in a large directory style site like this.

  • Bob, curious what are the specs of your machine?

Sounds like a bottleneck somewhere, not sure where it would be, though. Did you adjust the timeout settings too, mentioned in the pastebin linked above? I’m not sure if they could affect it. I doubt it given that it is rolling quickly, though. Both wp-config.php and your php.ini are being…[Read more]

  • It’s worth noting that unless your spintax is proper it will come out pretty messed up. Other spinners will spin it (albeit missing parts, which you may or may not notice) Whereas SS will output garbled spintax.

a few things I’ve observed (I think) last night:

    – Going more than 3-4 levels deep seems to cause problems. Not 100% sure, I’m…[Read more]

  • Interesting spin @cyberinnovation . You certainly never know. With that said, I would imagine that if you pick up a few hundred SEO subscribers on YT then you have many many more paying customers. At which point, if G was going to pick up on SEM for having YT subscribers, then they would have long before picked up on semeasy.com. It wouldn’t be…[Read more]

  • Hey all,

I figured it would be useful to know what some good settings for serpshaker are and how to increase the php memory. The php.ini settings come right from an SS video.

This is really geared towards developing the site offline. For which you can download and install MAMP (for mac) or WAMP (for PC) then download WordPress and fol…[Read more]

  • Well I’m glad we’ve got this place now, Mark. It’s a shame to see the people that really know what they’re doing, like yourself, get pushed away from the community like that.

  • I understand the hesitation to – but there has to be a reasonable way to. Using SS style build-outs on local sites isn’t a new concept, even with many pages. I’m wondering if the trick is the speed at which you build.

  • I’m using SerpShaker on a client site, I’m planning to use it to create a services page (there are two services) and individual services pages (so, total of 3 pages for each area) in about 90+ villages, cities, and towns in the surrounding areas.

For a grand total of about 270 new pages.

Are there any considerations when using this type o…[Read more]

  • I dig Google Hangout simply for the fact that it’s fairly reliable (versus the connecting error in BBB), and the fact that not only does it have a chat but you can go through the chat later AND can click to go to exactly where in the vid you answered the question. sweet.

@tim Just found it. There’s a link to “Preapproved payment plans” on the page. Phew.

Where did you find the link? I’m on my purchases page and then click into Zen Infinitum but cannot find where to cancel?

    Hey Bob,

Log into PayPal, go to the preapproved payments page (It’s under one of the money pages in settings), then l…[Read more]

Only worth it if your site should have an SSL cert.  (e-commerce platform with on-site cc’d processing, client portal, etc.).  Not needed for blogs/standard websites and google won’t be negatively impacting rankings for those kinds of sites anyways.
when they say “ranking signal” they’re just talking about a variable in their r…

  • So, how the hell do you cancel? I just noticed that anything recurring from JVzoo doesn’t register as a pre-approved recurring payment in paypal (I have FCS Networker through JVzoo purchase well).

How are they able to bill monthly, automatically, without it being a pre-approved payment. WTF mate.

  • Hey all,

Has anyone heard of SSL being a ranking signal from google? And with that, has anyone experimented to see if it actually does do anything?

I had heard this once before and brushed it off, and just saw an article on OpenSRS about it. (Of course, they have something to gain, so I’m taking what they say with a monster grain of s…[Read more]
