Some good old fashioned do follow comment links should be just fine for juicing up these pages. A handful of links using the url should be enough for each page. And then using PBN’s for more competitive cities.

Super sweet…I see you included the state too. I noticed the old code with the city only would place all kinds of maps from other parts of the country.

According to some webbie today:
It is much better doing CPA for items at $10 and above.
Out of 100 sites built, you should be able to yield 30 sites that do well. Ditch the other 70.
Out of 100 sites that do well, you should get 70 leads daily.

Steve hit it right when it comes to local. Typical its so easy that you don’t need to use target keywords, and if you do, just pillow with PBNs.
When it comes to high competition global searches, though, its a legitimate area of concern. Typically, the idea behind pillowing is to get those non-critical anchor anchor texts (Brand, URL, Mis…[Read more]

Sorry to hear this happened to you. It sounds like the hosting company had a backup and restored it for you. Awesome… that’s pretty rare if you’re using a cheap host.
In terms of security, I’ve been fine by just doing the following (never been hacked, knock on wood):
Limited Login Attempts plug-in

Welcome.
First step…create another 4 to 9 money sites each with a different look and feel attacking the same keyword group. Use different on page and off page methods and keep healthy records. Create 20+ web 2.0’s and other properties (pdf, slideshare, etc) to rank for those keywords too.
Now you will begin to have enough data and u…[Read more]

Glad to see you here.
My favorite from Becker was an email from July where he showed dozens of page one sites from 900+ attempts. That’s around a 5% success ratio. Gotta love that batting average.

Set up ftp as an A record. When you ftp into your site you’ll have to use http://ftp.yourdomain.com – it goes directly to your site, not thru CF.But you can’t do that manually anymore. Please check the attached image in previous post.
I think CF automates it now.yeah you can, you just go dns settings -> Add new, type it…[Read more]

Doing CF first means you obfuscate your server. Which is cached by some tools. Lookup “DNS history tools” or something, I know I’ve seen some out there.
What I’m curious about if there’s a way for Google to see where mx records or cpanel are pointing as they go directly to server don’t they?
They way they set them up was URL, W…[Read more]
