I appreciate your answers and understand I need to begin the slow process of building my own PBN. That will start on Monday. I will put together a plan and implement it. This I have spoken and thus shall it be.

To seek wisdom you must have some of your own answers.

Many of the same answers will apply no matter what, but first and foremost what business model are you building?  Renting sites to local businesses, affiliate sites, local seo services to clients, adsense, other?

I am by no means a goddess but will offer my 2 ce…[Read more]

  • Sam,

Some of this may sound ignorant but I like to go with my strong suit. Isn’t each site basically a division of one category. Like I have one site dedicated to kitchen cabinets. All of my keywords are about kitchen cabinets, not necessarily with those words but the overall theme is kitchen cabinets. Would you have a site that divided…[Read more]

I want to build a PBN, I really really do. However at the time I’m building slow and I want to discuss options, preferentially options that have a controlled financial impact. I’m willing to spend money but I’d rather spend the money on my infrastructure and growth, not leasing or renting someone else’s. However if that is the onlt option I am…[Read more]

naw @don, if you have a site with more that ~100 pages on a shared host you’ll experience slowdown, especially on the admin side.  I debugged this back in November of last year and posted my findings over at stackoverflow and stackexchange.

If you’re not trying to use the leasing feature of 2x, or aren’t using 2x at all, I recommend installing Quick Cache or W3 Total Cache on the site in question.  Just remember to purge your cache after making any settings changes to the site.

Additionally, you can use a CDN to help offload the delivery of static files from your server to the cloud…

  • I was reveiwing some notes about building silo’s and then I read a post somewhere else from Nick about building silo’s so I’m looking for a clarification.

On my first SLL site (statewide) each city had two different posts with 8 keywords tagged on each page.

Reading Nick’s post he mentioned building a page for each city and each…[Read more]

    Nick

That was an awesome answer and I actually learned something. I thought the SLL sites had one site per city and then the additional keywords were just tagged to the site, at least that’s how my initial site was built. Have they changed their approach?

  • An SLL site is the name of the product they sell here at SEMeasy. It stands for Serp Landlord. The site is here. http://serplandlord.com/   It is just a unique way that they build their sites. They will answer questions if you have them.

    Hi Nick

Just to Clarify, when you talk about pages  ie 270,000 for nation wide sites you are using posts??

    regards

  • Hi Andrew,

The internal pages are not different locations but rather different services. The main page encompasses all of these services. For example the main page could be about dentistry in a certain city and each internal page is a service offered.
