BrianW posted in the topic What is SERPSpike? in the forum General 9 years, 9 months ago
Dallas, here is some info I posted in the Facebook group for someone who had similar questions. Here is the short version (from my perspective) in bullet point form:
1) SERPspike is like SERPshaker on steroids (and then on steroids again)
2) There is some math into how the sites get so large. When the webby is published, you’ll hear how Jake…[Read more] -

Question for the group. I also posted this in the SEMeasy SERPspike FB group to see which gets more traction.
My experience is with Client SEO, Video SEO, and renting websites but I have never done Affiliate SEO so of course have never attempted it with a SERP Landlord or a SERPspike site. So are these the steps?
1) Sign up for an Affiliate…[Read more]

BH, status quo for me. Two quick things I do:
1) Optimize for G and let Y and B rankings take care of themselves.
2) If G ever deindexes a site, I will increase KW density on the site since B and Y seem to tolerate it well …currently. hth

Tim, thank you for sharing all of that helpful info. I now better understand my options as I look to scale my business over time.
I have not looked into costs of managed vs unmanaged services but my first thought is that I will look at managed services when I am ready. To me, it’s a little like outsourcing. While managed services will cost…[Read more]

Hey Bob, somewhere here in the Forum is a thread with a great Checklist in it. Apologies tho that I can’t point you straight to it. Perhaps someone else can.

BrianW posted in the topic I turned on DA and my site lost most of its indexed pages in Google. Coincedence or is Google getting wise? in the forum SEO 9 years, 10 months ago
Hey Keith, a couple of thoughts for you –
1) Wait a few days. Google often bounces the “Indexed” pages number around on new sites.
2) Even tho Google is showing fewer indexed pages, if you do a search with the terms that showed you had Page 1 results previously, are they still there? Often they will still show in the SERPs even tho Google…[Read more]

Tim, just shared what Andrew and Jake shared previously. They can explain the distinction much better than I can.

Bentan – Jake, Andrew, or Ben can explain it better than I can but SEMeasy’s Double Agent does not cloak, it overlays. They can explain the difference.

BrianW posted in the topic Are Bitly links still working since the last Double Agent upgrade in the forum DoubleAgent (2x) 9 years, 10 months ago
Okay, I thought Jake and Andrew cleared this up a few weeks ago but maybe I misunderstood. I will send in a Support ticket to get clarification but here is what I thought I understood.
1) Bit.ly links were fine then Bit.ly changed something and they were no longer fine.
2) As a result, Jake did some reprogramming so that Bit.ly is fine again…[Read more]

Great stuff, Doug, in both posts. Thank you for sharing.
I’m looking fwd to understanding more about Spikes from Jake and Andrew – having a difficult time getting my head around them at the moment and how they differ from current landlord sites.
We’ll know soon.

It’s interesting how everybody views things but that’s what keeps things interesting.
Each of the last few webbies has focussed on the fact that Google outlines in their documentation what it pays attention to when ranking sites. Things that if we are aware of them, we can lay out our sites better. The last part of each webby has discussed…[Read more]

Adrian, have you tried to build out a SERPShaker site with very few or no plugins at all, then tried to apply DA? I think this would provide some validation for you. Then you could add whatever plugins you want until it breaks to understand what is creating the conflict.
It’s also possible your initial attempt got hosed (corrupted) so I would…[Read more]
