Yes this is correct. I leave the FTP on grey while I am working on the site, for easy uploads, but then after I am done it goes right back to orange. When the cloud is orange that means that cloudflare is “protecting” the site. If you leave your ftp greyed out then the bruteforce attack would be hitting your ftp account rather than hitting th…[Read more]

The only cool bit of this is the link tracking. I like that. I like it so much, we may code it. However, I don’t think my employees will let me jump down that rabbit hole with 4 scheduled in person speaking engagements this month.i know that feeling

Mark,
You’re sharing some great stuff here.
So I can build a site on a team (let’s say the Packers), come up with a list of everything they would sell to a fan (foam fingers, cheese heads, sweat bands, etc), maybe put some identifiers on them (blue, large, waterproof, whatever) and make a huge site.
After that would you just have…[Read more]

Regarding concern about no guarantee – not knowing whether this product is any good or not – I do know quite a lot about credit card processing policies. Almost all traditional credit card companies take the consumer’s side whenever a charge is disputed (i.e. AMEX, MC, Visa) – so if you are unhappy with the product’s results, just dispute it.…[Read more]

Looks like they are shutting down the free members access to the forums today.
while I am disappointed, I understand why. It makes business sense.
After purchasing during the first round of Source Landlord/Serp Landlord, I picked a dumb niche (asbestos removal) that got so little traffic I couldn’t feel comfortable trying to sell any company…[Read more]

Hey Darrel, I don’t have any detailed insight into this particular product but the thing that bothers me is they are offering no satisfaction guarantee of any kind… zero.
After the RAS mess, I would be wary. Also, the whole thing is a little too “black box” for me meaning there is no way to know if it works correctly, if it produces qu…[Read more]

It claims to bring in spun content in one click. I’m curious where they’re getting this content though. Having a single dashboard for a multitude of PBNs also has its appeal. But the idea of second tier video backlinks is new. Apparently the plugin rips content from Vimeo and then uploads it to YouTube so you can build the link from a YT url and…[Read more]

Is anyone pondering this plugin?

It’s from Wyatt Jozwowski who I think might be part of the same brain trust (Mario, Becker, Zander) that brought us Rent-A-Serp. So for me that pretty much means I’m a little skeptical.
Anyhow I thought I’d find out if there’s a consensus around here since this is one of the…[Read more]

Hey Brian,
I hope for the same results on a few sites I have put together. All the pages are indexed but not a single ranking as yet. One went live on August 4th the other August 10th so I am keeping my fingers crossed something happens soon.

Here’s another idea that I’m using. I have a local client who sells widgets; blue widgets, cute widgets, widgets for big things, widgets for little things, waterproof widgets etc. They sell these locally, but they also have an online catalogue – so I built a site around widgets; cute, big, waterproof etc, and used each state. Blue widgets ca…[Read more]

WM, as with anything else, the price you can get is dependent on how well you sell them combined with whatever the market will bear.
If you do pursue this, make absolutely sure the domain you are selling links on is completely and totally isolated from any other web properties you have. If it does get taken out, you don’t want any of your other…[Read more]

BrianW started the topic Identifying High-PR Inner Pages in Expired Domains in the forum Domains 10 years, 4 months ago
I heard someone say recently that they often check for high-PR inner pages after they have purchased expired domains so they can take advantage of them (build those pages) but I’m not sure if I heard this in this group or not.
Anyone here know how to go about this? Thanks.
