LOL!! Hilarious.
And if we ever have an SEMeasy get-together or Meet-Up or all end up at the same conference together, we can all wear similar t-shirts that say, “…and so did I!” on the back.
Andrew, Jake (and Frank… lol again) can wear Joe’s original version above and we can all just move around en masse.

Thanks Matt,
It’s like a big hammer just hit me in the side of the head. I hate it when something that is relatively simple stays just out of my grasp. Now I have the tools to continue my plan for world domination.

Mark,
I love the teaching here, especially the part about thinking outside the box and finding new markets. I’m trying to wrap my head around about how to build a site in the above game example (I mean one of those huge sites) when you only have so many keywords and you’re not including location.
At least it gives me something to w…[Read more]

But isn’t the power of the shaker sites their enormity? Isn’t that what helps them dominate rankings? Isn’t the locality angle a big part of it also?
Thanks Steve for helping expand my knowledge base. Someday I may even teach this.

Exactly my point Steve. Maybe I should’ve asked a more to the point question. How would you build a Shaker site (big 30,000 posts type site) and gear it towards a market like the one I mentioned, World of Warcraft?

Mark,
Excellent post. Lot’s of great ideas here. I would like to dive a little deeper into this.
It’s always been explained to me that building these kind of sites are more successful when you try to go to a local audience (ie. city, state). How would you do this for (I pulled this one out of your list). 4. (Video Game) Cheats m…[Read more]

In reference to how many pages would it take to get indexed in order to hit $10 a day, it is not really a matter of indexed pages. It would be a matter of how well the site is ranking, which obviously then correlate to the amount of visitors you would received, and it also would depend on the niche that you choose which would also effect the…[Read more]

Is the size of RAM the only thing that you can upgrade? I really doubt that having a bigger RAM is going to speed up the build process, speeding it up require faster resources not bigger ones. You would need faster RAM and/or faster CPU and/or faster SSD not bigger one.

You get what you pay for. Damn true.
The domain is still forwarding to the site in question, but at least I can access the Cpanel again. I might just switch the host and see if that fixes things. I guess my concern is that redirect. I don’t know how that ever happened.
