Richard, I would garee but the update just came out today.  We wanted to get it to you as fast as possible and not worry about changing the documentation before releasing it. 

The documentation will be updated to explain the reasons to use one vs the other…  Just wanted to make sure anyone who was having an issue had in there hands quickly.

Some good old fashioned do follow comment links should be just fine for juicing up these pages. A handful of links using the url should be enough for each page. And then using PBN’s for more competitive cities.

I have experimented with SS on prebuilts with many preexisting pages and rankings. I have zero success with the new pages, but nothing has affected my rankings on the old pages yet. Time will tell.

Stick with complete URL, or you’ll be spending quite a bit of time hunting for the ones that have an entire site dedicated to your niche. (The gov’s won’t be, of course)

If you have a decent machine, building offline is very easy with MAMP/WAMP. It also makes it very easy to manually duplicate sites when you want to make a bunch of them. 

It wouldn’t hurt to put it in the navigation for spiders to find it. Otherwise it’s just as easy/hard as it is for them to decide to crawl other pages in the sitemap.

I’ve been extracting the post links inside the ss plugin using the extract links option and then pasting them into a post. I then send all backlinks (press releases, pbn’s, etc.) to that post so the juice can flow to every post.  Hope that makes sense.

After nearly a year of using FCS I have determined that I get far more out of Magic Submitter than anything else. 

This is intriguing Mark. Any quick comments on the most effective ways to use Magic Submitter? I have FCS networker… but it’s kind of a pain in the ass to use effectively, at times.

It’s worth noting that unless your spintax is proper it will come out pretty messed up. Other spinners will spin it (albeit missing parts, which you may or may not notice) Whereas SS will output garbled spintax.
