Matt Diggity posted in the topic PBN links in the forum SEO 10 years, 3 months ago
Hey Scott,
Scenario A:
PBN site links to yourpage.com twice.
Each link gets the same amount of link juice, but only the first anchor is considered.
By same amount of link juice, lets say the PBN site has 10 links and you’ve sent 2 to yourpage.com, then it will get 20% of the PBN site’s link juice.
Scenario B:
PBN site links to…[Read more]

This might not be your case, but…
I have a colleague that recently complained about multiples sites/pages getting de-indexed recently. Cross-referencing the commonalities between his sites with the issues, he had found that the only thing they had in common is they’re all residing on the same IP from the same host. There’s nothing wrong wi…[Read more]

Garrat hit the nail on the head.
Just to add, one of the biggest points to look at when it comes to local SEO is comparing yourself with the other sites in the top 10, especially when it comes to the # of links to the homepage.
With local, it usually takes only a handful of links to rank. I’ve gotten to #1 in New York for multiple sites…[Read more]

Hello SEM-easy,
Just wanted to kick things off with a warm hello. My name is Matt. I’ve been in the SEO game since 2008 and have made a comfortable and steady living off it.
I’m experienced in a wide range of IM/SEO topics: affiliates, split testing, SEO, PBN, social, etc and I don’t mind at all sharing my knowledge to those who ask. He…[Read more]

I say it’s useless because I have installed on all my PBN and money sites, I have blocked the entire Amazon IP range, along with every SEO bot I can find. Yet somehow my entire PBN is there in analytics tools for the SEO community to see.
I still install it, but I just don’t see the benefit. The black hole is just as effective. The idea is you…[Read more]

You might find cloudflare in your cPanel which will make starting it easier perhaps.
No, I have never added the IP address. but Yes you need to confirm that cloudflare pulled the correct address.

I agree with Chris. GSA is good if you understand it, use it properly, and don’t abuse it. If not you will just shoot yourself in the foot. This is the case with buying (outsourcing) back-links. Be careful who you use, they may be spammers or provide spammy back-links (there are a lot of them on Fiverrs). I have seen many a site that… -

Not that I know of, it’s not a sitemap, robots.txt is more of a tool to block bots from certain sections of your site and a quick Google will tell you semantics.
If you’re looking at specific bot blocking there’s the all so popular and completely useless Spyder Spanker. Or you can set-up a black hole, you can also block email spam pretty…[Read more]

That’s great!!
What program did you use to track rankings.
StevebAccurrank is quite good, should be able to find it on WF or sales page. It has proxy/captcha capabilities which you don’t need as there’s time limit on searches so you don’t hit Google -> human captchas. I typically run it over a day and search around 500 KW’s.…[Read more]

Also try not to put the same url as the domain. For instance your site is plumbersny.com don’t create any pages named already in the URL for example http://plumbersny.com/plumbers-ny-new-york/
Also make sure you have a decent amount of content on the homepage, aim for at the very minimum 600 words. You can count all page elements, content,…[Read more]

Get one with Windows on it or install Gnome Desktop on a Linux box. Install WAMP and then build out your sites quickly. Once they are all working the way you like, upload the wp folder to your shared hosting. Upload the DB change the WP config to match the domain name etc and index the site.

I am thinking that the root domain would/could have the top level KW’s while the subdomains would have the more niched very long tail KW’s?
