Your not getting a lot of traffic Nick but you’re getting highly specialized traffic. It’s like putting up a billboard along side the road selling yellow wickets, except in this case the only people driving down the road are people already looking for yellow wickets. I’ve told the people I’ve talked to that I can’t (or won’t) put their page in…[Read more]

CJ,
From my view point, not Jake or Andrews, I do not see how DB or SLL could cause any problem with your customers Adwords account. The only service you are offering is sending your potential new customer traffic. What is the difference if he gets the traffic from PPC, buying traffic, running ads or any other method of acquiring…[Read more]

In theory yes, reality who knows.
Remember the test that Andrew had us to for a search term and then we sent him the image of the returned list of sites?
That was to see how and if the search results change by area or geography.
Throw in the fact that it is a local search and that can possibly change the search…[Read more]

Sometimes I think I know the answer but then I’m just not sure.
Let’s say my keyword is “Shooting Basketballs” and I decide to see where it’s ranking and I pick King City CA. So I go to Google and type int he search bar “Shooting Basketballs King City CA” and low and behold thee it is at number One.
On a separate note a citizen of King…[Read more]

Nick,
with that kind of overhead that you mention, it’s hard for me to sell them on “a risk they will take” when I know I am not getting hardly any traffic to the areas.
Big Happy, that is good that you have one client getting multiple areas. I like to hear that. And that story that Justin shared on one of the webinars is inspiring, but…[Read more]

BigHappy that is the truth.
With over 30 years of sales experience if you talk about your customer, call them by name and his problems you are most of the way to a sale.

Gypsygal,
From my conversations with Rich I can guess a couple of things he’s going to say (or at least he said to me while cleaning up my script). Get rid of the I’s. Focus on the you’s. Don’t mention yourself quite so much. Example “I’m not kidding”, “I’ll be brief”, “I’m sure you’ll understand”.
Rich’s point to me was that p…[Read more]

Thanks Andrew. My landing page isn’t showing nearly the h its that my posts are. Don’t understand that. As for the beard, it’s gone. I retired from 30 years as an Air Traffic Controller and decided to give my face a fresh start.

Just curios – Have you guys had any questions/objections about search volume? [cause for many keywords it’s obviously low or non existent]I understand that doesn’t reeeally matter – (esp in my niche as they only need a very small handful of leads to make it worth-while) and as the keywords and combinations cover pretty much…

Happy,
1. Yes you should show a hit on your landing page for every page that is hit..
2. The hits, well we have done our best to try to block out the known bots, but there are tons of different bots out there. So the true answer is, there may be some bot traffic shown in the hits..
3. I think it is the beard
