Andrew Dale posted in the topic Site Size in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 6 months ago
National SerpLandlord Sites have about 31K pages per keyword x 9 keywords = 279K pages that will index..
State sites have 2 pages per location, so it is hard to say because each state has a different numbers of locations..

I am a bit confused on the size of the sites… I asked Andrew about this once when we were talking but I can’t remember the exact answer, and don’t want to sell someone something I can’t deliver. How many actual pages/posts are there for each city or town on the SLL pages?
I know there are post pages and tag pages, and for some reason I can’t…[Read more]

Andrew Dale posted in the topic Cloak website over yours in the forum General 10 years, 6 months ago
Just wanted to clear up a little confusion. The semeasy plugin doesn’t cloak. Some will say it is semantics, but there is a huge difference. Cloaking is against the Google TOS and directs a user away from one site to another, this software brings another website to you. You never leave the first website that you are on.
In reference to loa…[Read more]

Thanks @timchesonis – this really goes to show how much your server comes into play when running high intensity plugins like IA… some people on shared hosts experience the timeout ~200 pages!
I have the updated stable version done and ready to launch, just working on some updates to the semeasy framework itself now to make sure everything runs…[Read more]

Andrew Dale posted in the topic Negative SEO Tactics in the forum SEO 10 years, 6 months ago
I know that people don’t like to discuss negative SEO, and say, hey Karma is a bitch, etc… But if you don’t know what someone can do to your site, or if you don’t realize how easy it is to take down someone’s site, then you sure as hell don’t know how to protect yourself from it, and definitely, don’t know how to undo it when it happens to…[Read more]

I wanted to start a thread in reference to Negative SEO tactics.
If you wanted to take down a competitor, OR if someone was trying to take you down, what would be the steps that you would take to get a website penalized the fastest!
I would start with buying about 5 fiverr.com gigs. Go after Link Wheels, Xrummer profile links…[Read more]

I did a few tests with the modifier that Andrew posted. I tested using a google search of 10 items per page and 100 items per page with a proxy and without. Didn’t seem to make a huge difference. BUT Google doesn’t even agree with itself.Used Vermont as my state
Initial search shows 11400 pages.

Nick started the topic First Touch… How Do You Contact Clients? in the forum Sales 10 years, 6 months ago
Let’s share how we contact clients… not how to sell them, or what we do afterwards, just your first contact. Are you calling, emailing, sending post cards, using ads? Specify if it’s for SLL or DA sites as well.
I feel if we nail this we’ll all be where we need to be.

Nick posted in the topic What’s your strategy? in the forum Sales 10 years, 6 months ago
I’m sure it’s legal… I’ve done it many thousands of times over the years, lol. “Technically” you’re supposed to include a physical address for contact purposes and a way to be removed from the list so you won’t get any future mailings. So if you put your address or a PO box address (we use a UPS store) and something like “reply to this message…[Read more]

Andrew Dale posted in the topic SLL number of indexed pages per state vs site total in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 6 months ago
That is very strange. MCheck and make sure that you don’t have an extra space in the search, after the state. I just tried a few sites and I was getting the correct results. The number was inflated a lot because if it indexed a page that has that state in one of the random pages then it would also show.
Maybe I can do a video on Goo…[Read more]

Tim,
When you have a ton of pages that you are trying to index. Like thousands, yes there is a bug that Jake is working on the fix right now. It works fine right now for a few thousand pages, but once you start going over 8-10K pages, it will error out right now..
Should be done shortly!

Marty,
I saw the support ticket that you submitted today. I responded back to you. I asked Jake to also look at the issue, but I do need you to respond with some specifics, like domain, a login credential, etc, so that we can figure out what your issue is.
