Oh, and I forgot to add, the reason I’m trying to build up a list of interested contacts is so that if my tenant stops paying rent, I have a list of other interested parties I can call right away first to replace them rather than starting the whole sales process all over again.

Thanks for starting this thread Vilardi.

So here is my sales method in a nutshell. Please keep in mind that this is theory, I haven’t yet found any first place rankings to sell, but this is how I plan to do it since I am a small operation.

    1) Use a scraping tool to get Business Name, Phone Number and Website address for local businesses in…[Read more]

    • I think the concept is really good. I was working on part of your idea as far as developing around the platform rather than just using the platform, i.e., having pages on top of the normal one on the serlandloard page so you can take more control.

As far as focus on the target client. With the rankings I am seeing, the prime target would be…[Read more]

Great job, as for pricing don’t worry about being to high or too low…

I’ve checked around and found advertisers paying $800 a year for a crappy listing on local sites like http://www.shopniagara.ca/index.php/home/advertising.

Also, understand that the page your renting should be your tripwire into getting them to start tr…

  • Out of all the categories in this forum I am super surprised this section is empty. Niche selection is critical to the success of any SLL site and unfortunately it is not straight forward and what we are used to as internet marketers.  There is a whole different set of circumstances one must look out for.

Unfortunately I am not 100% on the…[Read more]

  • Hi guys

Thanks for the interest. Sure hit me up in a couple of weeks whenever you are ready. I have a couple of interested people for right now so we are getting started with them =) Hope to have some good results to report soon. This is all virgin territory =)

Update – Im at exactly 62,000 indexed.

I know we are supposed to get indexed for our secondary keywords, so it should be 7 x posts right? Which means at least 210,000..So I have a long way to go it seems. I don’t think it will be done before the rebill. I wonder if there is a way to speed up indexing?

  • A common post I have seen here is that you guys have some rankings but no rental sales.Selling is hard! Even with no brainer #1 listings. Let me help you with that. My partner and I have a marketing business doing web work for clients. I however – suck at sales! I do the down and dirty stuff on the computer. Put me on the phone and I am awful! I…[Read more]

Good day Big Daddy D (like the name), currently at the moment there is a transition from Source Land Lord to Serp Land Lord which will be organized by Jake and Andy here at SEMeasy. As far as other options for siloed sites the LL sites are pretty darn good and one of a kind. That is my personal opion. Hope you have a great day.

Update: Indexing this morning was 61,600 but then I just checked again and its down to 58,200.

Something useful  maybe for people is accuranker.com – I got us a coupon – bhw25off

There is a 3 week free trial so that should help get a good gauge of how the SLL site is performing, before having to pay for the ranking.

    It handles massive…[Read more]

  • Hi Sam

Maybe I missed it but on my SLL site I don’t see a call back to semeasy? The plugin is installed on the website itself so I assume if you were to obtain hosting local to you, and install the plugin then you should be fine? As the speed should be faster based on location anyway. The plugin can work anywhere..although its in English only…[Read more]
