Joe Newell posted in the topic Is there any real problems building your PBN with .nets and .orgs in the forum SEO 10 years, 4 months ago
My exact method is this:
I scan using PR Powershot
– only .com, .org, .net, .info
– PPR 4 or higher
– aged at least 3 years
– with backlinks
– expiring w/in 24 hours
– starting bid $50 or less
If both TC and CF are above 15, I look up quality of backlinks and try to see if past content is decently correlated with what I…[Read more]

BH, my PBN is near equal parts .com, .net, .org and .info with good results. I notice that domains I buy with good trust flow and citation flow are giving me excellent quick jolts with links, and my .orgs and .infos are often high TF/CF.

Guys, I upgraded to Premium+ as soon as the launch party ended. I have SO wanted a friendly neighborhood for SEOs to share best practices for a long time, but clients have me too busy to tackle it myself.
Happy that the RAS train wreck led me here and will be active on the forums. Looks like the WP plugin/extensions are a great b…[Read more]

Mark20 posted in the topic Domain Authority with Moz in the forum SEO 10 years, 4 months ago
When it comes to moz stats its a combination you need to look at. The higher the DA or PA of a domain the chances are the better the domain, however this isn’t always the case as DA and PA are easily manipulated.
MozRank however is slightly better as the general idea is the MozRank should be the same or higher than its PR for it to keep its PR…[Read more]

So the question is how do you get around this problem. Google must have something in place to bring relevant pages to the top quickly. If there is breaking news it must be able to identify this and rank accordingly.
I think a bit of testing is required to avoid this maybe something along the lines of using 301 from aged domains that have aged…[Read more]

After creating a few new sites and doing some testing with brand new, aged and dropped domains. Its clear to me that new site/pages no matter how many links you throw at the site are taking around 2-4 weeks to show up on the first page.
I wonder after the latest payday loan update that google have brought back the sandbox to prevent SEO…[Read more]

Mark20 posted in the topic Options with no PBN in the forum SEO 10 years, 4 months ago
When it comes to PBN’s everyone has their own take on them. Don’t do this, don’t do that, do this, do that.
A PBN is great for ranking a long term site, if your aim is to build an authority site or you have a client site that has a real business then it pays to build up a high quality network.
If however you just want to make some fast…[Read more]

Mark20 posted in the topic Google Leveling the playing field again? BIG change! in the forum SEO 10 years, 5 months ago
Rich Snippets is something worth considering for sure! I know Tesco are working hard adding scheme markups to their entire site, which makes me wonder why they would do that unless their was a benefit for doing so.
Attention grabbing titles and descriptions along with as much rich snippets you can show should help increase the CTR.
I agree…[Read more]

My image was removed from the SERPS a while ago even though it was stable for sometime. It was good to hear Google has taken the images away even though I am sure the reason it was done was to increase ad revenue.
I am also expecting Penguin to rear its head again soon so I expect things to be interesting over the next few months.
