I think they’re working on fixing the bugs in the plugin and updating the API for Paypal within the plugin.
Let’s hope it gets fixed soon.

I’ve been trying to get the plugin to work properly for months and it seems it just gets better.

Now I can’t even install the Double Agent plugin as the system doesn’t run the task, just reverts back to the starting point.

Does anyone have a similar problem and if so did you manage to get it working or have you decided to give up like I have?

I’ve deleted the old plugin and uploaded the apparently new version but now the system doesn’t allow me to install Double Agent lol.

A bit of a mess really and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a confusing plugin as this on WordPress.

I’ve just checked the plugin version and it says 2.01 but when I check the download locker the version is 2.1.0

Could this have something to do with the problem because I received no notification of any update.
What’s the process to update the plugin without losing the existing settings, this is all over the place at the moment.:(

2.News feed that updates regularly.
3.Website uptime monitoring tool that check every 10 minutes.
4.Crowdsearch that searches the site twice a day for several minutes.

Here’s something that might work but perhaps someone will weigh in with more info about its effect on keeping the plugin activated.
I added the site to an uptime monitor which pings the site every 5 minutes to check if it is online.

I’m using Uptime Robot for this.

I’ve just had to reactivate the plugin today lol, I have a cron job set to run twice a day and I installed a plugin that displays newsfeeds in the sidebar to produce some activity on the site in the hope that I had seen the end of this nightmare.

I set up a cron job to ping the site once a day but after about a week, the plugin went offline.

I’ve now set it to ping every hour but if that fails, I might have to outsource daily logins to keep the plugin activated on Odesk or some freelance site.

I’ve been at this for a couple of months now with contsacting support but the DA plugin just doesn’t want to stay online.
