Maybe US is different to AUS, but no way in hell are you going to rank for keywords like “cleaners” “dentists” “interior design” etcetera without links. Pretty sure most markets are tapped, definitely the 50 or so I’ve looked at over the last few months. We are also limited to around 50 cities (6 major ones you can easily charge $500… -

Nick posted in the topic Is there any real problems building your PBN with .nets and .orgs in the forum SEO 10 years, 4 months ago
You’ll get the hang of it no doubt… get good DA and PA and nice incoming links and you’ll be good to go. If it’s an older site that’s a plus too. Don’t get too caught up in the 20 rankings diff sites have. There are a lot of things you could look at but most people who I’ve listened to teach DA, PA, age, and incoming links are key.
I’ve had…[Read more]

Isn’t the on-page SEO already done on SLL sites? Please tell me yes, I don’t want to do anything to 270,000 posts.

Nick posted in the topic Adsense! Who is interested in learning more about Adsense? in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 4 months ago
So if we wanted to add Adsense to the unsold states on a SLL site, I assume we’d have to create some page that losely resembles whatever niche our nationwide SLL site is about, then add Adsense to that?
So maybe create a review page of some similar product on Clickbank, then add Adsense to that?

Nick posted in the topic Always more questions – DA, KW Tracking in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 4 months ago
I’m still not at a place with tracking that I like. I’ve added a handful of keywords that I know are on page 1 to MOZ ranking tool and it updates it for me so I can show a client the report monthly, but I have to find the page 1 results manually then add them. It works well enough, but it takes consistent updating. If you search the forums there’s…[Read more]

The reason I am attracted to the SLL sites as a product to sell to businesses is every small biz owner I talk to says the same thing: “I’ve had so many people I’ve hired and nobody’s done shit for me”. (I heard it again an hour ago) I do SEO for a few companies, and they’re totally happy but I’ve done a lot of work and it’s a day to day challenge.…[Read more]

I pitch $999 for the first state and $500 for each additional state and $5000 for a national at month to month (no lease). The national for $2999 on a 6 month to 1 year lease.
This seems to make a lease very attractive.
Gil
VERY nice… do you have many at this pricing? If they decline, do you drop the price?

Nick posted in the topic ETA for software Updates? in the forum General 10 years, 5 months ago
When you use bit.ly, can you give the client the login so they can check their traffic on their own? I assume you could, but then you’d need a new acc for each client right?
As I write this, I think it may be better to just schedule ourselves to take a screenshot of their traffic once a month or something similar and send it. Any thoughts?

Nick posted in the topic Double Agent – Category Overlay update – Do you like? in the forum General 10 years, 5 months ago
No doubt this will be huge… like Andrew said, we had rented a site to a company who wanted 4 states, and it took 2 ppl almost 6 weeks working literally full-time to get all of the states pointed at their site. We could have given them the whole nation, but that would keep us from having the ability to sell other areas. Now the same job takes…[Read more]

Nick started the topic SLL State Pricing in the forum Pricing Your Services 10 years, 5 months ago
I’ve used a few different models, but now that we’re going to focus more on SLL sites we need to be more consistent.
$675 for 3 states of a nationwide SLL site.
$375 for 4 states we built with DA. (but paying me for reputation marketing and SEO already, so discounted)
$575 for 1 state of a nationwide SLL site.
$225 for 1 state of a…[Read more]

I’d be interested, especially if you have a way we can use SLL sites to do it… and would love a way to sell affiliate products on these as well, rather than just renting states. (we’d do both)

Andrew checked out our service and sites we post to, and has been recommending people, fyi. What we’ve found gives the best results is using the naked URL for the backlinks instead of anchor text. Sometimes the sites actually get read, but the most benefit is from the backlinks from what we can tell, since a lot of decent PR sites pick it u…[Read more]
