Yeah, the function for the shortcode is on 970 – you can change how the title’s generated fairly easily in there. I’ll move it to it’s own file in a later release – it was just a proof of concept for future schema implementation

indeed there is! use the “custom loader icon” field on the general settings page, or the post editor to do it on a post-by-post basis.

Jake posted in the topic Has anyone experimented with SSL as a ranking signal? in the forum SEO 10 years, 3 months ago
Only worth it if you’re site should have an SSL cert. (e-commerce platform with on-site cc’d processing, client portal, etc.). Not needed for blogs/standard websites and google won’t be negatively impacting rankings for those kinds of sites anyways.
when they say “ranking signal” they’re just talking about a variable in their ranking a…[Read more]

I seriously don’t suggest using ANY Google product on your website except for Youtube and Adsense. Anything else, use at your your detriment. I figure it will only take a few days for your site to get de-indexed. Been there and done that…

Jason,
It would have to be a pretty weak niche for one site to take the whole page. You are better off creating 10 different sites….
That would require 10 different articles which may be about another 30 minutes of work, pulling two articles, mashing them and spinning them.
In reference to duplicate content, I call it content that…[Read more]

Jason,
I can’t even begin to figure out what the issue is unless I have something as basic as the domain name… Otherwise it is a total guess It could literally be thousands of reasons.
It could have been:
Your site has bad PHP code (it was hacked)

Can you give us a little info about what we are talking about?
PBNs, Aged Sites, New Sites, SerpShaker, Landlord Style sites? What do you mean by falling?
Would like to help out but have zero info to even start trying.

It is not DA the issue would then be bitly, right? I mean if Google is seeing the links through bitty then that would be the issue. I will have to look into it, but we don’t have any issues. If you are concerned what you can do is dup the money site, or just dupe the money’s site landing page and then integrate it back through to the money si…[Read more]

Hi Guys. Quick question on buying high PR domains. What’s your view on finding a) A blank page or b) A different content page (i.e. Kitchen design on a financial site) when looking at the Google site Cache when researching an expired domain for purchase? site:website, info:website and PR check looks fine. Thanks. RonIt all depends on…[Read more]
