Kevin,
You adding keywords, could have caused the silo to break, yes. But what we are seeing now after MUCH digging (as you can imagine) is that yes, someone else putting analytics on their sites brought direct eyeballs from Google to not only their website but to the server that many sites were sitting on. That is correct.

Mike,
Google Authorship doesn’t open the tracking pixels. That is really schema markup. So i would say that it is fine and we have even tested it. Seems to work just fine. But Analytics or webmaster tools, is a NO NO! As we can see

Well, I wanted to give an update. We have been looking into what was causing some members to have issues. It turns out that we had three members that thought they were smarter than everyone else. They went ahead and added Google Analytics to their sites, manually.
Well, you can see the results. Google actually hit the server that…[Read more]

Andrew Dale posted in the topic Indexing Video in Sidebar in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 7 months ago
Sam,
Of there is a video in the sidebar, it will not index using the video sitemap process. The plugin is done and in beta. Jake will nbe giving more information either today or tomorrow.
The video actually need to be in the body of the content in order for a video sitemap to work. So you would actually need to go ahead and add videos ma…[Read more]

Andrew Dale posted in the topic List of Niches in the forum Niches 10 years, 7 months ago
Mark Upshaw first compiled this list or a list very similar. It is a huge resource!
Where you can truly dominate in the serps, is when you try to stay out of the home service based businesses. Like Contracting stuff, etc… You try to do physical products and with SLL style sites, you just plain dominate. VERY few people are actually doi…[Read more]

Nick I am getting a Page not found error on that link.
I would like to check it out, as depending on where the PR is distributed to, it could be very, very helpful. I am looking for something very specific.
Let me know when the site is up and I would love to take a look.

Hey guys, we have been playing with different tweaks to the site builds. It turns out just a few simple tweaks, and a little background coding has given us incredible results.
If anyone is having an issue with their SLL site, let me know. We have done a bunch of rebuilds for anyone having an issue, but I need to know you are having an i…[Read more]

Glad I checked in here. I’m seeing the same thing, I have about 10% of the indexed pages I had a week ago.
This site has turned out to be an interesting experiment, I’m wondering if it’s going to bounce back. Guess we’ll see!

Andrew Dale posted in the topic A New Subscription is waiting for my approval…? Why? in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 7 months ago
When it comes to the Awaiting approvals.
That means that someone did not complete the payment process. So that could mean that it was a Spam bot trying to fill out the form, or a real person who just decided not to pay. Either way, it is someone who did not make the payment through paypal.
When you get this, I would take a look a…[Read more]

Andrew Dale started the topic To EMD or not to EMD, that is the question! in the forum SEO 10 years, 7 months ago
Many people ask whether should get an EMD or not. It is not a really easy question to answer without some knowledge of your final goal first
First off, is this for you simply for rankings? Is this for a Brick and Mortar business? Are you trying to build a brand? What is the EMD availability? Are you going to have to pay through the back…[Read more]

Guys, there are so many reasons why sites would bounce around. It is not the SLL site itself, it is Google. The SLL sites are not the magic bullet and a 100% guarantee to knock it out of the park anytime.
How many of you have built a site and then it lost steam? I know I have too many to count and I am not talking about SLL sites. I h…[Read more]

That’s strange David, because the site definitely seems to redirect and not overlay. The local business site still has mydomain.com in the address bar in Firefox, but when I do the same for the clickbank affiliate link, it does the double agent loading, then seems to load again to send you to the clickbank landing page, which is reflected in the…[Read more]
