Same problem here with my state site. Are you a state site or National site? I know Andrew is aware of my rankings dropping and he is looking into things. As of now I’m still watching tings and trying to figure it out.

My directory has taken a massive ranking drop where 100’s of top 2 page listings are now in the 100’s or off the chart. Is this something temporary? Is it just me? Is the staff aware of this?

I signed up for Pro Rank Tracker (there are a few of these out there) that let you track hundreds of sites. Costs money, but that’s what I do.

I may have made a boo boo.

It could be that Clickbank has something built into their to force their site into a main tab.

But just a guess on my part as I send all of my traffic back to a page on my site and then onto my affiliate offer.

That’s strange David, because the site definitely seems to redirect and not overlay. The local business site still has mydomain.com in the address bar in Firefox, but when I do the same for the clickbank affiliate link, it does the double agent loading, then seems to load again to send you to the clickbank landing page, which is reflected in the…[Read more]

Marty,

Yes, put your clickbank affiliate url in the “Site Wide Temporary 2X” and it automatically overlay from mydomain.com.

The javascript overlays the new site on top of your DB site it does not redirect to the the new site.

That is why all that Google will see is the content on your site not the overlaid site.

Why not add a form to capture their emails?

Word it something like “Leave your email and I will send you more information on our no cost no obligation trial”

If you are looking to rent out the site to a plumber in a city then the first url would work, while the second url is general and can be used for anything.
