Matt posted in the topic What do you look for when buying domains? in the forum Domains 11 years, 12 months ago
The most important thing is, to take action. Nothing changes if nothing changes.. simple truth. Backlinks to any domain you buy is very important. Go take the time to look at them. Basically, what the hell is being pointed at this domain I am getting ready to purchase? What you really want to look for that give you an awesome domain to use is…[Read more]

Matt posted in the topic To ping or not to ping? in the forum Penalty Box 11 years, 12 months ago
A little known tip that works very well is to use Google video sitemap ping. You’ll get your sites indexed in a matter of hours on most normal cases. Instead of pinging a regular sitemap to Google, you want to create a “video” sitemap and ping that to them. You don’t really have to have the videos on your site, just a reference to an actual video…[Read more]

If you have SEOZen then you have access to the Spin Writer feature.
Just a suggestion but you could use this to spin some of your articles if you want that are already in place.

Yeah, I meant to get back to this thread….
It is just plain stupid how this works! You simply throw your penalized domain as a 301 to your new domain… Then you send out a press release (but not just any press release!). The press releases that go on the “Press Release Type” sites only, just don’t work and will actually hurt you… I sa…[Read more]

Hey guys! Andrew here.. I haven’t been around for about a week or two, as we had the launch of Landlord, which was really overwhelming and AWESOME, all at the same time..
We have a ton of really cool things coming down the pipe, (not looking to be a spoiler here) but over the next few weeks we will have some really cool things rolling out. M…[Read more]

I like it! Google seems to have jumped in a time machine and gone back to 2007 in some respects. They still have the filters in place for back links, but with GOOD onsite optimization you can dominate most low – med comp.
I like to embed a related Youtube video. They own youtube, so… well just saying
Also, outbound links are im…[Read more]

David,
The best place I have found for good quality content for cheap has been iwiriter.com. Usually get a 500 word article for $5.50. Just find good writers and reject the bad ones. It takes some trial and error along with time. However, you only are paying for what you need and want. Another thing that you can do after that is used…[Read more]

I read this on another forum from a guy who did a case study on about 30 domains with doing zero backlinking. These are not my findings just repeating what he had posted. The purpose is to discuss if you, in your experience, see these as true or valid for on page optimization. For my input I do know that utilizing <h2>, <h3> and <h4> tags down the…[Read more]

Mike,
I have SEOZen and while I learned a lot about Silos the program itself was not much use to me. Why? The articles it pulls are mostly useless and dups from all over the web so I was spending way to much time going and into each page and redoing the content. Lot of wasted time.
Just me when I am building out a silo that is all I…[Read more]

Tags and category pages are “leasable”, but there are no settings currently to change what’s on a specific tag/category page… SLL +2x gives you the ability to lease pages passively, but many people think this is where the magics supposed to happen. Unfortunately, those are the people who will see the least success with SLL and in all…[Read more]

I completely understand. This is just my advice, for fast results. Do you own or have access to any sort of PBN? If you do, utilizing that and Youtube videos can produce quick rankings to maybe bring some affiliate sales in. This is within the realm of possible strategies to achieve quickly.

Yes that’s a valid point. You really don’t want some cheap cookie cutter template that is going to just have the same thing over and over. There really needs to be some thought in the process of your generation adding in some variables that make things look a little more natural and not a “Traffic Equalizer” type site. (<– For those that remember…[Read more]

Truth,
Landlord is currently a plugin plus a stand alone script that generates all of the content and silos.
We already have one part of the puzzle with Double Agent and Jake is working on porting the stand alone script over to a plugin that we can use on our sites.
Time line, with the million and one things Jake has going on he is…[Read more]
