Nick
Excellent info thank you.
Quick question please – do you vary what you charge based on where your site is ranking on page one – I mean is a #1 worth more than say, #5. I know in Google’s world it is but you are talking real world. I thought about that but I know we cannot always insure our sites will remain at a particular…[Read more]

I was running on a GoDaddy VPS but could not get Double Agent to forward individual posts or categories. I moved one of my sites to HostGator and it worked fine. Since the plugins have been down I have not tired anything. Just building sites waiting for the problems to get resolved so I can run IA and get them ranked. GoDaddy was less than…[Read more]

Frank – would really like to learn more about retargeting. Understand what it is but not when and how its best used.
Thanks

Big –
Glad to help anyway I can. I figure we’re all in this together and if we can help each other make more money that’s a good thing. I see it as we are not slicing up the pie, we are making the pie bigger so we can all get a bigger piece. (piece of the PIE – clarification for you SEO perverts out there)
Had to run something to my wife’s…[Read more]

Pretty much any of the above (except the obviously smart-ass one) would be great
I particularly would like to have one of my SEMEasy sites reviewed to see where I f-ed it up. Getting descent (I think) spiders visiting but no rankings. Will take any and all the help I can get.
Thanks

Doug Huggins posted in the topic Where did you watch The SEO Show? in the forum The SEO Show Discussion 9 years, 11 months ago
SEM Easy.
Saw the show a couple of times before after Andres mentioned it on a SEMEasy Hangout. But last Friday I linked from the SE eamail
Great program – Will be back every week – good stuff and not a damn bit stuffy or pretentious.

BigHappy –
My partner and I have built over a dozen local and regional sites in a variety of niches. And have been able to get them locally ranked. In fact, in one local niche in Calgary, we own six positions at the top of the SERP. All this following Andrew and Jake’s prescription for building Landlord type sites. We’ve built nine national…[Read more]

Would like to know what was the issue with SERP Shaker. We have over a dozen sites where we used Shaker to build the posts. I know this is a SEMEasy forum but many of the member use Shaker. It would be most helpful to know what the issue was and how it was resolved. Thanks – Doug

The last several landlord type sites we’ve built were in a niche that would be easily rented in national, regional or state size chunks. I’m now looking at a few niches where the “rank renter” will most likely be looking at much smaller areas like a county or two in their area. For these type niches what about doing categories like {County -…[Read more]

Are there any negative issues I should be concerned with if I loose Internet connection while running Index Assault on a site?

Doug Huggins posted in the topic Turn Off Subscribe Button in Double Agent in the forum DoubleAgent (2x) 9 years, 11 months ago
William – Thank you!
I do want to keep Double Agent on the site. What I wanted to do was to have the “rental offer” show up on the page without the [Order Now] button.
In hindsight this maybe one of those ‘who cares’ issues – trying to make things perfect rather than going for it.
Appreciate the reply.
Best regards

I don’t want anyone automatically subscribing / leasing a webpage without a conversation. Yes, call me a masochist. I want to rent larger blocks of pages not onesies twosies. I’d like for the Subscribe button and the “$ /mo” not to show. I’ve tried several options but haven’t been able to figure it out. Would someone more knowing than I please a…[Read more]

Doug Huggins posted in the topic NO Bots Visited after Index Assault – what did I do wrong? in the forum IndexAssault (IA) 9 years, 11 months ago
Craig – thanks for your comments. Both sites started being indexed last evening. My partner looked at the situation and stated he could fix it. He took both sites off Cloudflare and the began being crawled like mad. My concern now, of course, is that Google can see both sites – in the same niche – are from the same IP address. Although it is a…[Read more]

Used SERP Shaker to build out two sites. Ran Index Assault on one – started pining.
Ran Index Assault on second site – pinged. The first site disappeared – when I type in the URL or the domain name/wp-admin all I get it “pageok” The second site just sits there – no bots no spiders.
Ironically, looking at CloudFlare, the first site I can’t…[Read more]

Ben, etal…
I know one of the benefits of Double Agent is being able to add a “sales banner” across the page.
Has anyone tried to create a sales page for the concept of renting the particular SERP and pointing all pages in that SERP to the sales page? It seems to me that is would be easier to explain the SERP Rental concept to a prospective…[Read more]

Greetings – First, I really appreciate the Hangout Oct 9 on Monetization. In fact, I’d like to see a whole forum devoted to this topic. I enjoy learning about SEO and how to build massive sites, but in my less than humble opinion, if you can’t make money all the rest of it is mental-masterbastion.
So, I have a question about what Andrew taught…[Read more]
