Nick,
I’m using Adsense Now with 3 ads on page.
Top left, Middle middle, bottom right
I’m using the large 336×280 Google will put a smaller or text ad in place if they feel is best.
Yes I’ve shut off Adsense showing ads to visitor based on their browsing, I want the ads to be based on the site I’ve built.
Yes I use images in the…[Read more]

I would edit your robots.txt file while you are waiting.
Here’s a great article explaining it:

Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/semeasy/ would take care of it.

Quick question please – do you vary what you charge based on where your site is ranking on page one – I mean is a #1 worth more than say, #5. I know in Google’s world it is but you are talking real world. I thought about that but I know we cannot always insure our sites will remain at a particular rank.
I have NO idea how or where the site…[Read more]

1. Niche Selection
Are you pre-selecting target niches and is there a sweet spot in terms of search volume/cpc that makes you go yay
I started by picking one niche randomly… no real reason, I just want to know there’s business there. I picked “Solar Power Suppliers” as my first niche. Then I have a Serp Spike page created so I have it av…[Read more]

I’ve been plugging away at this for a while now, but we have a good number of clients paying us hundreds monthly, purely from a combo of serp spike and dbl agent.
I think too often people don’t take the time to share, so I’m posting this to say “keep on plugging folks, this works!”
Here’s a thread with details…[Read more]

I’m far from a guru or anything in this business, but I’ve been talking to a good amount of people who are struggling, and I feel that since I have enjoyed a decent amount of success leasing sites to small and medium business “by the state”, I thought I’d post here a simple outline of what we’re doing and offer to answer some questions. I truly…[Read more]

I wonder if rather than getting “us” a server where Jake has to keep track of how much of it is paid for, etc., if it would be easier for him just to see who wants a %, then give us each that % individually from THEIR servers? That way he saves a little from their costs, and there’s no issue trying to “fill” a server?
For instance, if I want…[Read more]

I’m ready to move on this… the sooner the better. I assume 10% of the server would be plenty for 100 sites or so. Rather than break it up in equal parts, Jake may be able to do diff sizes as well.
Like if one person wants 10% they’d pay $51.00. 20% would be $102.00, 5% would be $25.50.
I’d be happy with 10% @$51.00… Jake, would that be…[Read more]

How does it work, are we each given a % of the box depending on how much we pay?
I have a Hostgator VPS right now, but it went down today and I need to make a change. I only have around 20 sites now, but will have many more eventually.

For the most part my DA sites have never worked on mobile… it would sure be nice if they did, I’ve lost a client because of it.

Nick posted in the topic Can we Outrank the Local 7 pack SEO Results with a SLL website ? in the forum General Discussion 9 years, 10 months ago
In my opinion, I’d say it’s possible but not without you choosing what page you want above it then working to rank it there with traditional SEO strategies. I would highly doubt it could happen on its own though. That’s not negative, it’s just not what these sites are built to do.
For a city to even HAVE a 7 pack it has to be pretty big, and c…[Read more]

I know there is now a switch we can check in DA to assure that we don’t send links to our clients pages. It somehow uses some kind of code or something but I don’t remember exactly how it works.
Can you explain it here for us?

I’m not sure if it’s possible…. not sure why you would want to test localhost?
I’d suggest testing a live site and you can shut off/disable anytime so there’s no worry.

Welcome Bob,
Yes I agree with Sam3 you may not need a PBN but what I do with each video is “draw a picture” with some notes and file it for each video.
As you go through other videos you’ll start to see your pictures/notes connect to each other.
One note when building a PBN you’re looking for aged domains that don’t have spammy…[Read more]

Don’t know if this is the answer you are looking for but here goes:
My first thought/goal with a Shaker site is to get in the to 10 to be on the first page of the SERP. Top 5 is best!
Building sites with 30k to 180k pages puts the odds in our favor this will happen many times over across the country BUT not in every city.
So will you be…[Read more]
