I welcome a Penguin refresh
BUT…. I didn’t welcome the Authorship image to go away… That is a HUGE hit! But this means we need to focus on other Rich Snippets…Review snippets perhaps? I would say a big HELL YA!

Yes you could give them the url if you want. Quick answer is when you find a bit.ly link, just put a + at the end of the URL and you can see the stats.

My image was removed from the SERPS a while ago even though it was stable for sometime. It was good to hear Google has taken the images away even though I am sure the reason it was done was to increase ad revenue.
I am also expecting Penguin to rear its head again soon so I expect things to be interesting over the next few months.

It’s late and I’m baking pies and creating my own SLL site ( I hope). Have about 8 pages done and I’m bored of making pages so I decide to look at Index Assualt and I say, “What the hell, let’s hit some buttons.”
The home page is already indexed. It was crated an hour ago. The silo isn’t even finished. Is this right or is it…[Read more]

I know @appsahoy is, because I know what he needed to go through in order to accomplish this in the past.

You can use almost any url shortner, however you really want to make sure that you use one of the bigger ones. Reason being is that bit.ly, for instance, has over 2 BILLION, new urls created a day. Google does not even see it as a blip on the radar, but I encourage to go out and explore and test.
