I haven’t found that on any of my sites. So not sure if it specific to a theme or not. One way I have found to stop hackers is to use a plugin called: Rename wp-login.php
I use wordfence on all of my sites and had one that had over 50,000 attempts over a couple of hours time. It really gets annoying. With the addition of the plugin above, it…[Read more]

Welcome Verlyn!
Was that possibly rent-a-twerp you were trying to not mention?
I think you will love it here. A great deal of information, unpolished, but far superior to the shiny objects around.
Enjoy the ride.

Hi Joe,
Sorry, been busy and hadn’t seen your question. The data in every column shows it has an apostrophe at the beginning ie: ‘georgia and at first I thought I would have to remove them. So I copied a column and put it into notetab pro and no apostrophes showed up! So then I opened up note pad and put it in there, again no apostrophes showed…[Read more]

Just an update.
I have purchased the 39.95 package from zipcodedownload. There are many things I didn’t know.
Such as, big companies or government departments get their own zip code and they are listed in there as a city. But they do give you a column that shows if a zip code is unique, which is what these places get. So you will need to go…[Read more]

To anyone watching this thread: I have decided to have my assistant stop working on the spreadsheet because I have found one online that can be purchased for $40-$140 depending on which version you get. It has the zip codes and area codes as well as the counties and cities and of course the state. I may have to combine some fields to get it like…[Read more]

I think you are over thinking it. So stop thinking, start doing! That is the best way to learn. Do it and see what happens. The worst is you are out the money for a domain, because I assume you already have hosting of some sort. If you are doing a large site and worry about the hosting timing out, then do 1 county at a time, you will have many…[Read more]

Hey Big,
You’re welcome.
I don’t think Google cares one iota whether any city/town is incorporated or not. I think they care how many searches does it get and if one started to gain searches, then google would certainly try to capitalize on that. I don’t believe it is a concern.
If you rank for the tiny suburb that has only 5 searches,…[Read more]

Prohias, some things you just want done correctly to begin with and don’t want to cheap out on it and maybe end up with tons of errors. I figure I will be re-using it many times over so the cost will be offset easily on the first site to start earning money.
On the other hand for anyone interested, I did find this site:…[Read more]

Hi Prohias,
This is precisely what I have my assistant working on right now. In between other tasks. I don’t think you will want to split my costs, my assistant is not a VA and she is paid $18/hr. I have estimated this to take a total of 10-11 hours. So the total cost to me will be about $180-$188. You can most likely find someone cheaper, but…[Read more]

Welcome! I wish I could help you. I did see something recently so I will try to locate it and put it up here. But since it didn’t apply to me, it’s not front of the brain.

Sounds good.
I wouldn’t necessarily say one money site/one pbn. Because if you had hundreds of sites in your pbn and your money site needed more of a push, then you would put another link to it from your pbn. You just don’t want to do something that is predictable that would then become a footprint.
Yeah, working for the government / having…[Read more]

Hi Big Happy! (love the nickname)
It is my understanding that you would have no more than 3 links out per article and no more than 10 links out per pbn site. Now you can do more, but you start to lose link juice with more. Also, it is not clear what you meant, but don’t link to the same money site from all of your pbn sites, that will leave a…[Read more]

Welcome Dallas!
Massive accomplishment on the PBN, great work!
Multiple streams of income is the smartest, I believe. Never good to have all of your eggs in one basket.
I look forward to hearing about your adsense. I am considering it as a more viable option than I had in the past.
