  • Happy,

Jason is right.  ZFirst off .org .net .anything doesn’t really matter. It is all about the power of the site.  With that said, as we explained, PR is only updated once in a blue moon these days, 9 months to a year, the last one took, and a lot can change within that period of time when it was first assigned the Page Rank.  So you…[Read more]

dont get caught up with pr

ensure you check the domain authorty and page authority

You will find domains with less pr that are worth there weight in gold

  • See the reason I’m unsure about this is I know I have no idea what I’m doing when buying expiring domains. All these numbers and I think I know what they mean but when I start looking at them my level of confidence dwindles.

So I’m looking at a .org site with numbers like these PR 0 (can’t rely on this number, I remember that), trust flow 23,…[Read more]

  • When I search through PRPowershot it seem sthe .nets and .orgs don’t quite draw the attention of the .coms. While I know most people prefer .coms domains is there any real problem with other domains (ie. .net, .info, .org, etc.) in your PBN. Do they not hold PR as well? Are they more or less trustworthy?

Just trying to expand my knowledge…[Read more]

Isn’t the on-page SEO already done on SLL sites?  Please tell me yes, I don’t want to do anything to 270,000 posts.  :P

Yes, on-page SEO is taken care of for you :)

  • BigHappy started the topic The name of a domain in the forum Domains 12 years ago

I’ve found a site I like. The domain has a word in it that fits into some of my silo sites. However, when looking at archive.org they used the word with a different meaning.  An example would be mouse. I used the word mouse to indicate a small, furry animal but they used it to mean a small mechanical device used with computers.

    Would t…[Read more]

What is everyone (anyone’s) opinion on the Domain Authority number with Moz. Do you trust it? Is there a certain number you like to see? Does Lebron James piss you off?

    Thanks

In fact Jake – you and Andrew could consider SEMEasy members your franchisees – There’s enough of us.

  • Cecilia posted in the topic Franchises? in the forum Pitches 12 years ago

Jake – that was what I was thinking of. I’ve seen a lot of franchisors that include some sort of brand marketing as part of the package included and provided to franchisees – so if this is something they could add and include its an excellent value I would think

But yeah Eliza – getting ahold of the right people who UNDERSTAND what you…[Read more]

We’ve done this too, with a slightly different approach.  Instead of trying to convince them to hire you for classic SEO or having to deal with the small scale local business themselves, we pitch it as a value up-sell corporate can use for their current/potential franchisees

Andrew, cool video, thanks for taking the time to do that.

But I am still confused.  For a state-wide site, is it $197 one time or $197 monthly?  In reading elsewhere in the forum this morning, it appears Jake had mentioned that SERPlandlord was going to necessarily be on a back burner for awhile while some of the SEMeasy tasks are c…

  • Joe,

We will be doing that, but that will be a training, not for the new user coming through the door just to figure out which end is up, but yes it will be done.

    Jon,

Videos are coming on how to install the plugin and the extensions, but we are just getting the new update (which changes the way the extensions are loaded, so w…[Read more]

I like the  idea of booths at local conferences or shows. Since I focus mainly on local SEO (county wide) I could see setting up booth at say the local home and garden show. You can have already ranked several sites for various home and garden niches (concrete, kitchen makeovers, patios. etc.) and try to sell them right there. They walk out of…[Read more]

On a side note – a booth at a franchise conference? or attending a franchise conference and giving the franchisors DVDs or flyers?

  • Cecilia started the topic Franchises? in the forum Pitches 12 years ago

It was a brainstorm last week that my lack of success with sales of SLL sites, may have been due to the niches and city competition levels. We got nibbles the more metro we could get – but had to be the right niche.

Anyway. After that brainstorm I was thinking who would be an idea client for state/nationwide sll sites. And low and behold – duh!…[Read more]
