BigHappy started the topic Very specific Question for Andrew about Niche selection in the forum SEO 10 years, 3 months ago
Andrew, when researching a niche you say you select 10 cities and look to see what the competition looks like.
What cities? Are we talking the top 10 like San Jose, LA, San Diego or more like the 100,000 range in population or even further down in the 25,000 range?
Thanks
Big

It’s more of a way to keep the inevitable back seat fighting at bay, at least for awhile.

Eliza,
I’ve started paying my kids to find business descriptions on the side of trucks as we drive around. Lot of regional idioms right there. I’m having a blast finding more possible keywords this way

Interesting Peter. We have always used a tab method, so that Google gets all of the Content on the one page.
I will have to look into the scroll speed.

I apologize for the misunderstanding in this post all.
I wasn’t looking for help with SEO in Dumpsters. I was using Dumpsters to try and start a conversation about different SEO techniques. I guess I wasn’t very clear. I’ll rethink my approach and try again later.

Paul,
I agree their webinars aren’t pretty or run smoothly all the time but they are getting better.
As for today’s webinar, you say the content was awful. I was definitely at a different webinar. There was some pure gold in there. I agree the problems with the sound was aggravating, but the content was awesome. Their was stuff i…[Read more]

One thing I’ve learned in my months here is the learning curve is steep.
Watch the videos, more than once probably. I know I have.
Ask questions.
Just do it until you are stuck, then ask more questions.
Make lots of mistakes, fix them, then make the same mistakes again and fix them again.
It will all start to come together and then…[Read more]

Pretty sure most markets are tapped, definitely the 50 or so I’ve looked at over the last few months. We are also limited to around 50 cities (6 major ones you can easily charge $500… - Load More
