Nick started the topic How can I help you? in the forum Sales 9 years, 10 months ago
I’m far from a guru or anything in this business, but I’ve been talking to a good amount of people who are struggling, and I feel that since I have enjoyed a decent amount of success leasing sites to small and medium business “by the state”, I thought I’d post here a simple outline of what we’re doing and offer to answer some questions. I truly…[Read more]

Why is it a problem to have this indexed? I’m not being a smartass, I’m wondering how it can hurt…

I wonder if rather than getting “us” a server where Jake has to keep track of how much of it is paid for, etc., if it would be easier for him just to see who wants a %, then give us each that % individually from THEIR servers? That way he saves a little from their costs, and there’s no issue trying to “fill” a server?
For instance, if I want…[Read more]

I’m ready to move on this… the sooner the better. I assume 10% of the server would be plenty for 100 sites or so. Rather than break it up in equal parts, Jake may be able to do diff sizes as well.
Like if one person wants 10% they’d pay $51.00. 20% would be $102.00, 5% would be $25.50.
I’d be happy with 10% @$51.00… Jake, would that be…[Read more]

How does it work, are we each given a % of the box depending on how much we pay?
I have a Hostgator VPS right now, but it went down today and I need to make a change. I only have around 20 sites now, but will have many more eventually.

For the most part my DA sites have never worked on mobile… it would sure be nice if they did, I’ve lost a client because of it.

Nick posted in the topic Can we Outrank the Local 7 pack SEO Results with a SLL website ? in the forum General Discussion 9 years, 11 months ago
In my opinion, I’d say it’s possible but not without you choosing what page you want above it then working to rank it there with traditional SEO strategies. I would highly doubt it could happen on its own though. That’s not negative, it’s just not what these sites are built to do.
For a city to even HAVE a 7 pack it has to be pretty big, and c…[Read more]

Nick started the topic Jake… plz explain the redirect process. in the forum DoubleAgent (2x) 9 years, 11 months ago
I know there is now a switch we can check in DA to assure that we don’t send links to our clients pages. It somehow uses some kind of code or something but I don’t remember exactly how it works.
Can you explain it here for us?

I don’t know exactly what the specifics are, but I remember something saying that without it, the sites won’t work correctly.

Nick posted in the topic Goal: Superfast DA overlay loading in the forum General 9 years, 11 months ago
I use a VPS and pay $53.00 a month… however, I still get a few seconds of the loading image. I also use a re-direct so that may take ma second, i’m not really sure.
In any case, while it’s nice to go really fast, for what it’s worth I’ve never had anyone question the loading graphic or speed.

It has been quiet lately… and yes the masterminds did start. I’d suggest doing a search and see who you need to contact to get in one.

Nick posted in the topic Ranking Well for Multiple Locations – Local Search Domination Cross Country or State – How do we do it? in the forum SEO 9 years, 11 months ago
If you want to rank in many (likely hundreds to thousands) cities across the nation I would suggest using the Serp Spike program. You can get up to 2.3 million pages that all forward to your site when clicked on. Yes, you’ll need to use Double Agent, but you can have it show different sites of yours on a state-by state basis.
I don’t know an…[Read more]

I’m considering it, but haven’t bit yet. It’s been promoted by a lot of others, so don’t fret about Becker, it’s not his product, he’s just selling it to his list.
It looks pretty good, I want to read some reviews and look it over a bit more. I’ve had some good results already with video and it’s a great selling tool, it’s also a great way to…[Read more]

Nick posted in the topic What wordpress theme do you use w/ Double Agent? in the forum DoubleAgent (2x) 10 years ago
It depends a bit on what you’re using the site for. If you’re using it for Adsense and not using the overlay you’d care more what it looks like I imagine, but if you’re using an overlay and nobody will see the site it really won’t matter.
We typically use the default WordPress themes and switch them around if we create more than one site for…[Read more]
